OOC – 30 Days of WoW: Day 30

Day 30 — Your main (Armory link & screenshot)?

What is this “main” you speak of?

Jaeyn was my main throughout BC and WotLK, and still kind of is, but isn’t.  I want stuff on him, but I’m taking a very casual route of waiting to overpower things in the next expansion.  He’ll get his title from Deathwing on some “old school” raid night after MoP comes out.

Jaellynn is my raiding main.  I really like the way death knights play in the tanking roll.  I don’t care so much about achievements on him, but in helping others get theirs, he certainly gets a fair amount!

Latahlali is my pvp main, because rogues are a lot of fun in pvp.

Jaellynn, Latahlali and Jaeyn.

And the quick sketch, Jaellynn, Latahlali, and Jaeyn.

OOC – 30 Days of WoW: Day 29

Day 29 — Something you worked really hard to get.

To reiterate yesterday’s post, in which the Lich King is one of my favorite fights, but one of my least favorite as well… I think the thing I’ve worked hardest to get are the Light of Dawn and Bane of the Fallen King titles.  6 months of wiping 50 times a week due to poor raid comp… Yeah.  Of course, now people just waltz in and get it in pugs.  I guess I can point at the date I earned mine, but the title itself has lost its prestige.  Even my fail druid has Bane as well as a couple of my other characters.  I could get Light of Dawn on all of them too, but I just don’t want to go back.  But as far as the question goes, I worked hardest on that, when it was current content.

/grumblemode off…

On that note, I’m eagerly waiting for MoP so I can go back and do hardmodes in Cata and gather more titles. 😀

I think a close runner-up would be the Loremaster title, which I had pre-Cata.  The last few quests in Kalimdor were killer to find as it wasn’t by zone until after Cata.  I still have to go back and get all the zone achievements now with all the new quests. 🙂

I could have chosen a lot of different things for this post.  Jaen/Jaene/Jaeyn has done a lot!

OOC – 30 Days of WoW: Day 28

Day 28 — Your favorite and least-favorite boss?

I don’t think I can choose just one.  Here’s a list.

Favorites:

Illidan

Yogg Saron

The Lich King

Least Favorite:

Any in ToC

The Lich King

I’ll explain the Lich King’s appearance on both.  The fight, the actual fight, when it’s done right, at level 80, on heroic, with your perfect raid comp, everyone with low latency and everyone knows what they’re doing is fun.  Remove any of those variables and wipe to him 50 times a week while pushing content with a suboptimal raid comp, and consider that it was the only thing to do for a year… Yeah that got old fast.

Ulduar was, by far, one of the best instances for fun raid bosses.

Yogg Saron

Iron Council, Hard Mode

OOC – 30 Days of WoW: Day 27

Day 27 — Your titles (choose one character).

I choose two characters because I switched mains between WotLK and Cataclysm, so neither of them alone fully represent the number of titles I have.  Jaeyn has titles from WotLK, and Jaellynn has mostly Cataclysm titles.

Jaeyn’s titles are the first column.  Jaellynn’s are the second.

OOC – 30 Days of WoW: Day 26

Day 26 — List your characters and their levels.

That’s a big question.

A picture says a thousand words:

19 night elves, 8 blood elves, 7 dwarves, 6 gnomes, 4 worgen, 4 humans, 4 draenei, 2 trolls, 1 undead, 1 tauren, 1 goblin, 1 orc.

11 Hunters, 8 mages, 7 death knights, 7 rogues, 6 druids, 6 warriors, 5 priests, 3 paladins, 3 warlocks, 2 shaman.

15 level 85’s, 12 level 80-84, 4 level 70-79, 5 level 60-69, 3 level 50-59, 2 level 40-49, 2 level 30-39, 4 level 20-29, 10 level 10-19, 1 level 1 that I thought counted because he has the noble title, and he got it before flying in Azeroth with two seat mounts (and uphill both ways barefoot in the snow).

I do have numerous other lowbies that I didn’t count.  Criteria for this was, they had to be logged in at least once in the past year, and they have to be important somehow to me personally. 🙂

OOC – 30 Days of WoW: Day 25

Day 25 — Who do you play with?

I can most often be found in game with Ornasse (and/or alts) and Phaa (or alts).  Every once in a while I get to play with my sons.  They’re on a different realm than I usually play on so getting a group together to dungeon takes some help.

I drew today’s in a quick doodle style 🙂

OOC – 30 Days of WoW: Day 24

Day 24 — Your favorite screenshot.

Lethality earns their 25 man ICC drakes. I picked out the spot. We had trouble with that because of phasing in a lot of areas. This is my favorite because this guild was awesome. I mean really really awesome. We were a heroic progression guild and we were good. I had heard (and experienced to a lesser degree) horror stories of asshat guild leaders and officers of top notch guilds. There was none of that in Lethality. Radamanthus and Hiphopunism, if either of you ever see this, let me say again how awesome you two are.

Honorable mention for my favorite screenshot goes to the ICC server crash while we were on Blood Queen in ICC on our ten man alt run. Kelanori was stuck like this for about half an hour before it was finally reset.
